Furniture Upholstery
Having been in the upholstery business for over 80 years, we've seen furniture manufacturers come and go. In today's market place, there are two expressions that hold true: "You can't tell a book by it's cover" and "They don't make 'em like they used to."
While a new piece of furniture always looks good, that doesn't necessarily mean it's well made. Most of today's furniture lacks "old school" construction techniques that allowed it to stand up to the riggers of family life; replaced in favor of quickly and cheaply fabricated furniture. Customers bring in the family couch, that may have worn cushions, pokey springs, faded fabric or perhaps they just want a "new" look. When we take on a project, we strip it down to the bare bones and start from the ground, up. New construction materials transform saggy springs and deformed cushions. Structural damage is repaired. Our customer's are delighted when they see how we have given their furniture a second life.
